What will your day look like

Within People and Culture each day can be a little different but with your generalist knowledge and experience you are adaptable, self motivated and focused on ensuring people and culture initiatives align to business objectives and needs. You are passionate about building and supporting an employee focused culture. You have strong business acumen, ability to think creatively, strategically and solve problems. You also have a high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

Support employee lifecycle from attraction through to offboarding
Own HR administration requirements with specific focus on employee onboarding
Manage the recruitment function from posting to hire
Manage BambooHR employee data, reporting and updates
Support the review and creation of policies and practices as required
Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbooks, policies, employee directory, and organizational chart
Develop job descriptions and postings
Stay up to date on (global) employment standards, regulations, and relations practices
Research and support training needs for teams and individuals as appropriate
Support the design of compensation and benefit as required
Manage staff wellness and engagement initiatives
Suggest improvements to make the People and Culture function more effective and efficient as appropriate
Understand and support a positive employee experience
Provide required information to external vendors and partners as needed (ADP, Moore, Bamboo etc.)
Be the primary backup for payroll processing, bonus/incentive pay, tracking vacation/sick pay, and benefit changes

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), in a related field is required
Strong knowledge of HR best practices
Deep and broad generalist experience in all areas of HR
Ability to research trends
Excellent communication skills
Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
Experience with Bamboo HR and ADP a plus
Strong problem-solving skills
Proactive nature
Excellent interpersonal skills
Meticulous attention to details
Highly organized
