reSolved achieves best-in-class information management security standard with ISO 27001 Certification

In these days of ever-present data privacy and security risk, it is important to know that when you are working with an implementation partner you are in safe, trusted hands. Security and privacy have always been a top priority for reSolved, and protecting the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of information is part of our privacy by design culture. We recently achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification and we’re excited to share the news, as it affirms our commitment to following best practices in this important area.

The best-known standard for information security management systems

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) / International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 27001 framework is the most widely recognized and accepted information security management standard. It defines how organizations should manage and handle information in the most protective manner, including implementing appropriate security controls.

ISO/IEC 27001 is designed to enable organizations of any size, in any industry, to manage the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, and employee and client data and information.

A commitment to the highest-level data security practices

Organizations are more aware of and concerned about security and privacy than ever. In our work with global funders, large enterprises, research organizations, universities, and government agencies, it is essential for us to meet rigorous international standards and foster a strong culture of continuous improvement throughout our organization.

Our ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification is a major milestone that showcases our ongoing commitment to protecting our clients and our company. ISO/IEC 27001 is the most broadly accepted standard, and it is increasingly a requirement for doing business with global organizations.

Best practices approach instills confidence

“Being certified for ISO/IEC 27001 enables reSolved to provide our clients a high level of confidence about our security and privacy practices because they know we are following international best practice. That’s the best assurance you can offer from a security perspective.”

A rigorous process that led to successful outcomes

To achieve this certification, reSolved demonstrated a systematic and documented approach to protecting and managing sensitive information, including intellectual property, employee and client data, and financial information entrusted by third parties. We successfully demonstrated our commitment to quality and dedication to the continuous improvement of the effectiveness of our information security management system. This achievement is the work of the entire reSolved team who consistently lived out our values throughout this process – having a PDCA (plan-do-check-act) mindset, taking ownership of results and bringing a steadfast focus on our clients, along with respect and integrity for their work – to bring about this positive outcome.
