Mariana brings over 20 years of transformational leadership in the not for profit, public and private sectors.
Mariana has held senior roles driving digital and business transformation combined with her deep expertise in outcome and impact measurement. She was Chief Operating Officer at the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Canada’s largest granting foundation. There, she spearheaded the complete overhaul and implementation of the largest evidence- and outcomes-based granting methodology and its associated systems. She has held roles as Chief Information Officer, Senior VP Transformation, Health Canada’s Chief Advisor for eHealth. Mariana worked internationally through her roles as a Partner at Accenture Inc. and at the World Health Organization in Geneva.
Mariana holds a Master’s in Health Science from the University of Toronto and is an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation.
Philip brings 20 years of experience in analyzing, planning, designing, implementing and maintaining desktop and web software solutions across many industries and verticals.
Philip is responsible for the design and implementation of customized software solutions at reSolved. He has hands on experience leading all stages of application development and delivering solutions that have helped countless companies, people, and communities around the world including e-commerce, trades, banking, veterinary medicine, corporate giving, grants management and research.
Philip holds a Diploma in Architectural Design from Humber College and a Diploma in Programming from CDI College, Toronto.
Jen guides clients to achieve desired outcomes. She is responsible for bringing the company’s best ideas, innovations, and capabilities to clients, so they realize greater impact and value. She gets clients ready for the implementation phase as well as ensures that the platform is well understood to maximize its impact.
Before joining the team, Jen worked as municipal government manager in the areas of policy, evaluation, and program design and development. She played a leadership role in the creation of municipal granting programs and including the design and configuration of six distinct programs through the SmartSimple platform. She has a strong understanding of the government and non-profit sectors and has a passion for supporting people to use technology to complement and enhance their business practices. Jen has eight years of experience helping teams to learn software platforms and has built an expertise in digital adoption strategy. A certified WalkMe Digital Adoption Engineer, Jen is able to pair her knowledge of the SmartSimple and WalkMe platforms to take clients’ digital transformation to the next level.
Jen holds a BA in Criminology from King’s University College in London, ON.
Mariana has 10 years of experience in training, design, implementation and deployment of software solutions in the Corporate Giving, Grants Management, Research Management and Case Management verticals with the SmartSimple platform.
Since joining reSolved, she has built and helped improve systems for a wide variety of clients such as The American Academy of Neurology, The YMCA of the USA, Ontario Trillium Foundation, SNAP Child Development, VPI, Toronto Arts Council, Creative Saskatchewan, USADF and Royal Bank of Canada. She brings several years of front-line customer service experience, and she is passionate about empowering people through the use of technology so that their work can make a difference in the world.
Mariana is a Computer Science Engineer with a Major in Database Design and Management and completed her studies in Toluca, Mexico.
Jonathon has over five years of experience providing support to external customers and internal product management, implementation, and development teams in the electronic healthcare record software as a service industry.
Recently, Jonathon was Senior Support Supervisor at Qualifacts Systems, Inc., where he managed a support team with billing, clinical, reporting, and third-party specialties to achieve year-over-year record customer satisfaction and ticket resolution times. He led his team to provide customer-first support, ensuring the customer’s needs were fully explored and understood. Through partnering with the Product Department, Jonathon supported and led multiple product rollouts from alpha to general availability stages, including a mobile software platform, federal and state reporting platforms, and webpage auto-save functionality.
Jonathon received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Loyola University of Chicago. During his studies he worked in a psychology research lab focusing on studies involving children with autism and women in minority cultures.
Jonathon’s favorite activities are traveling, hiking, and playing video games with friends and family. One of his best friends is his ravenous long-haired dachshund, Cali.
Arjun has over four years of experience with the SmartSimple system and has extensive knowledge of how to use the platform to implement client requirements.
At SmartSimple Software, Arjun started as a Technical Community Support assisting existing clients, before quickly moving over to a Level Two role followed by Team Lead role in the support team and most recently as an Application Service Manager where he was responsible for analyzing client needs, system scoping, implementation of small to mid-size systems as well as perform system reviews for any vertical. Having worked in different departments and verticals, Arjun has gained in-depth knowledge of the platform. Over the last three years he has also worked on projects for JM Philanthropy, Pacific Foundation Services, Ontario Brain Institute, American Health Care Association, Merz North America, and Central Indiana Community Foundation.
Arjun holds a BEng in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Maharishi Dayanand University, India and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Wireless Information Networking from Sir Sandford Fleming College.
Gauri has over 6 years of system implementation experience and combines technical and communication skills to implement and deliver
successful projects.
Previously, Gauri was Senior Business Analyst role at SmartSimple, where she assessed client needs and configuring the platform to streamline client processes. She also held the role of Business Analyst and Technical Community Support. Gauri has been involved in the implementation and deployment of some of the largest grants and research management systems.
Gauri has a B. Eng in Biomedical Engineering from University of Mumbai, India, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Bioinformatics from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology.
Kathy brings more than 25 years of experience leading marketing and communications for startups, nonprofit organizations, and B2B corporations.
Kathy was Director of Brand and Marketing at the New Jersey Society of CPAs, where she led the development of a contemporary vision for the Society alongside new products and services to address changing member needs. Previously, Kathy was Director of Marketing, Corporate & Foundation Solutions at Blackbaud, one of the largest cloud software vendors worldwide. At Blackbaud, she devised thought leadership strategy for Blackbaud Outcomes, software that empowers funders and grantee partners to measure the impact of their social investments. Kathy also served as Head of Marketing at MicroEdge, where she directed strategic initiatives including company re-branding, communications strategies to sustain client confidence through acquisitions and restructuring, and go-to-market tactics that created rapid, scalable growth for MicroEdge’s family of philanthropic software and services.
Kathy holds a B.A. in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame.
Norma brings over 18 years of experience as an Office Manager, as well as project management and Executives’ support.
She spent 11 years as the Client Services Administrator with Caliper Canada. Prior to joining Caliper in 2009, Norma worked for the Publisher Representative of Hachette Filipacchi, Hanley Wood, AARP & Audubon in Canada as well as in the Electronic Distributor and Manufacturing Turn-Key Industries. Norma also worked in the Textile Industry as Production – Scheduler Manager and within the Financial Industry in Mexico.
Norma holds a Business Administration Degree and a Posgrade in International Commerce from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico.
Mustapha has over six years of experience in business analysis with advanced skills in gathering and documenting client requirements. He has over five years of experience in project management using Agile and Scrum methodologies. Mustapha brings knowledge of the client’s perspective and an understanding of end users’ expectations when it comes to SmartSimple solutions.
During his time at Total Networks Inc., Mustapha served as a Business Analyst and as well as a System Architect. He gathered and analyzed business requirements and processes, while translating them into technical requirements and system design documents. At Ontario Centre of Innovation, he worked as an Application Analyst and managed SaaS projects using Agile methodology. He designed, implemented, tested, and integrated new features and functionalities into their SmartSimple system. As a Business Analyst at SmartSimple Software Inc., Mustapha drafted Statement of Work (SOW) documents and System Design Documents (SDD). He enhanced the document structure to make it more clear for non-technical stakeholders and implemented SmartSimple systems based on the SOW and SDD.
Mustapha holds a Master’s degree specializing in IT Project Management from the University of Hassan in Morocco, along with PMP, CSM and CCBA certifications.
Efron has an extensive background in supporting and managing software implementation projects.
Previously, Efron served as a cloud administrator in the non-profit sector. There he gathered technical requirements and worked to deploy large organization wide software changes and upgrades, all while administering the day-to-day system operations. Coming from the non-profit sector has given Efron a deep insight into the needs of the client and helps him in his role to provide the best solutions to meet organization needs.
Efron holds a B.A. in Sociology from Yeshiva University.
Kirijika brings a solid understanding of software languages, operating systems, web applications, multimedia interfaces, information security, databases, system analysis, and design principles.
Kirijika is responsible for leading the configuration of software solutions for clients. As a developer at Speed IT Net in Sri Lanka and ForaHealthyMe Inc. in Markham, she developed my Android, C#, VB.net, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and database skills as well as website development, user design, analysis, planning, debugging, testing, and maintenance.
Kirijika holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Middlesex University in London, England, and an Honours Bachelor of Technology in Software Development from Seneca College.
Ioan has over seven years of experience with the SmartSimple system and has extensive knowledge of how to utilize the platform to empower his clients.
At SmartSimple Software, Ioan gained experience supporting clients as a Technical Community Support, before quickly moving over to the Implementation Team as a Senior Business Analyst and most recently worked as a Systems Solutions Architect where he was responsible for analyzing client needs, system architecture, implementation and deployment of some of the largest systems to date. Having implemented systems for The Coca-Cola Foundation, University of California, Office of the President, Universities Canada and many others, Ioan has gained in-depth knowledge across a wide range of different verticals.
Kelly Zacher has been with reSolved since its start in 2007 and currently serves as the liaison between reSolved and its clients, ensuring excellent customer service and client satisfaction.
Throughout Kelly’s 17-year career in the information technology industry, she has combined her technical skills with her communication skills to lead, implement, and deliver successful projects.
Kelly has a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of British Columbia and Computer Programmer Diploma with high honours from Seneca College.
Beth has a passion for social change and international human rights and experience in program design and management, project management, and process improvement.
Beth brings her first-hand experience in leading and streamlining grantmaking through the implementation of SmartSimple. She partnered with SmartSimple to build and maintain a grants management system to increase applicant and grantees’ access to funding while also improving processes. Beth has held the position of Program Director at Geneva Global and has also been part of the development, management, and monitoring of multi-million-dollar global funds benefiting women and girls and community-based organizations globally.
Beth holds a Bachelor’s degree and MBA in Economic Development, with a concentration in Urban Development, from Eastern University. She is also working on completing her Project Management Professional certification.
